I'm the family photographer and thus, I have many more pictures of my children than I do of myself. Being like any proud mom, I love showing my beauties off. I love the second photo with the light and her hair swinging. Send me pictures of your kids, I'd love to see them!

Thanks for spending part of your day with me. I try to play the songs you love and talk about the things that are important to you. If there is something I miss, let me know. And, thanks for listening!
Things have changed so much since I started in radio. First of all, I'm not playing 45's anymore and well, I have a lot more wrinkles than when I started. I still have the 45's and a record player at home though which brings back memories. My husband and I met at a radio event so we laugh when we talk about the old days. Now our life though is about raising our sweet, amazing twins (see pictures on this page). We also have three rescue greyhounds:
Rudy
Haley
Scruffy

Favorite Quote: You've got to find what you love. And this is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it.

www.dooce.com Probably the most popular personal blog out there. Heather manages to make raising a family, struggling with faith, and having a life seem hilarious and yet so relatable. A daily read for me. I also love the pic of the day feature.
You might have seen the McCain ad that featured Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Well, apparently Paris has a response to that ad, and it's pretty funny. Probably PG 13 for language so keep that in mind before you click.
I hope your weekend was great. We mostly hung out at home working on getting our house ready for a new HDTV and sound system. The husband and I are finally making the jump after about four years of conversation about it. We did make one trip out to try and buy "Breaking Dawn" the new book in the Twilight series but it was sold out everywhere we went. If you've read it already, send me a review sans spoilers and I'll post your thoughts.
The other big "book" going on sale this week is People magazine. They've got the 15 million dollar pictures of the Brangelina twins. Here is the cover.
In other news having nothing to do with reading, it's been announced that Brett Farve is back with the Pack and "battling" for the starting job with Aaron Rodgers. While I'm not a Packers fan, and still bitter over the humiliating loss my Seahawks took from them, this whole saga has been interesting.
On one hand, Brett retired, made many of us cry when he made the announcement and then flip flopped(good thing the guy isn't in politics). There are lots of rumors around this--the GM forced him out to move to Aaron Rogers, Brett threw a tantrum to come back because of ego, the head coach is upset and doesn't want him back because of the distraction, the theories are endless really. I started thinking about it like this though, imagine you work for a company for many years and do well at your job. You leave, say you're retiring, they throw you a big party and you fade off into the sunset. Until you decide you want your job back. Does your company take you back and demote or transfer the person in your job? Do they welcome you with open arms or make it seem like you're the bad buy in the situation? It's interesting to ponder, is it not?
Throw in your two cents on the situation

If you're like me, you've read some of the Harry Potter books, maybe even all of them. They've done a terrific job with the movies and now we're approaching "The Half Blood Prince" movie. The trailer was released yesterday.
